Post-launch Hotfix!


Some bugfixes and changes!

  • Fixed speaker giving new summons +1/+1 instead of +2/+2 as advertised.
  • Fixed supplicant not triggering raven.
  • Fixed some buttons having incorrect hitboxes
  • The lonely witch now has +5 health, but her golems will now deal 1 damage to her on death. This will hopefully make her less annoying and prevent a possible infinite loop.
  • Chaser will now always steal 2 attack damage, regardless of whether the new recruits have enough attack damage to steal from (unless they have 0 attack damage, in which case the effect will not trigger).
  • Downloadable build now has an actual quit game button and pressing ESC will no longer close the game.
  • It turns out that if the traits of cleric or fisher are fractured onto another follower, their effects can be triggered repeatably. As a temporary measure, fractured aspect will no longer interact with cleric and fisher. To fully fix this we'll need a little more time to rework how those traits work on the backend.

Below are things too big for this hotfix. We will implement them with or before the next content update!

  • A better warning for replacing additional traits.
  • Fixing familiar not triggering other familiars. We'll need to redo a bunch of code for this one.
  • Options for animation speed

Currently, we are on a short break to recover from the stressful weeks before launch. After the break, we'll post a devlog about our future plans for Holder of Place and continue making more content.
