Performance Update


A small update improving the game's performance.

  • Optimized a lot of the codes so that the game should no longer slow down in Endless Mode after 100+ depth!
  • Optimized the logic for random damage; the game should no longer crash when a duelist is trying to deal 9E+7 random damage!
  • Relic modifiers that are not compatible (like muti aspects + aspects not available) will no longer appear in the same relic.
  • Reduced the upfront cost of Shift Engine (reroll) from 18 to 14 faith and increased the reroll cost from 1 to 2; this should make reroll appears more often and be more accessible in general.
  • Maze in Endless Mode will now only shuffle one random follower.
  • Relic of the Visage will now only give the dragon +1000 health.
  • Fixed encounters in Endless Mode always being the same after about 170 depth.
  • Fixed followers being able to be put into a hidden card slot on the bottom left of the screen.

Hopefully we'll have a Steam page by the Codex Update! {Please look forward to it}

Ran some super barrier stacking to test Maze. Didn't pose a significant problem with a sufficiently redundant build, thank you very much for the change.

Although it made me realise 'Lonely Witch?' should work slightly different. Not so much for balance, as more the fact that with my random damage based team combats against them took 10 minutes every time. My suggestion would be to reduce damage by a random amount between 0 and 10.
